C1 provides identity governance for Deputy. Integrate your Deputy instance with C1 for unified visibility and governance over user access.

Capabilities

ResourceSyncProvision
Users
Access levels
The connector reads the employees in your Deputy account and the account’s access levels (Deputy’s permission levels). Each employee syncs as a user with their name, email, and active status, and carries their access level on the profile so you can see which permission level each person holds. The access levels themselves sync as separate records so you can browse them directly. The connector is read-only.

Gather Deputy credentials

You need an administrator in Deputy to create a permanent access token that can read your account’s employees and access levels.
1
Sign in to Deputy as an administrator.
2
Note your Deputy install address from the browser address bar. It has the form https://<installname>.<region>.deputy.com (for example https://acme.au.deputy.com). The connector needs this host with the /api/v1 path appended.
3
Open Integrations and create a new Permanent Token. Copy the token when it is shown — Deputy only displays it once.

Configure the Deputy connector

Follow these instructions to use a built-in, no-code connector hosted by C1.
1
In C1, navigate to Integrations > Connectors and click Add connector.
2
Search for Deputy and click Add.
3
Choose how to set up the new Deputy connector.
4
Set the owner for this connector.
5
Click Next.
6
Find the Settings area of the page and click Edit.
7
Enter the Deputy credentials:
  • Deputy API base URL: your install’s v1 API base URL, including the /api/v1 path and with no trailing slash — for example https://acme.au.deputy.com/api/v1.
  • Permanent access token: the permanent token you created in Deputy.
8
Click Save.
9
The connector’s label changes to Syncing, followed by Connected. You can view the logs to ensure that information is syncing.
Done. Your Deputy connector is now pulling access data into C1.
